Global Employment Data Viz
The International Labour Organization (ILO) needed a more accessible platform for global employment data. The existing tool was dense and difficult to navigate, limiting its usefulness for policymakers, researchers, and journalists seeking clear, actionable insights.

The platform contained a wealth of labour data but lacked usability. Poor navigation, overwhelming visuals, and low engagement made it difficult for users to access and interpret key employment trends—hindering its impact. I led the UX/UI redesign, focusing on intuitive navigation and simplified data visualisation. We introduced interactive charts, smart filters, and a responsive layout, enabling users to explore trends effortlessly across devices and uncover insights without friction.
User engagement increased, with visitors spending more time interacting with data and finding relevant insights faster. The platform became a more effective tool for global labour analysis, empowering better decision-making through clearer, more accessible data.
