The existing platforms were fragmented and complex, making it difficult for users like shipowners and claims handlers to access essential tools quickly. Regulatory tasks like compliance checks and vessel tracking needed to be fast, accurate, and reliable to avoid costly delays. I led UX workshops and persona research to redesign the platform around user needs. We created scalable dashboards, improved navigation, and integrated GlobeView—North Standard’s real-time maritime intelligence tool—into a personalised, responsive experience.
The new platform improved task efficiency, increased engagement with real-time dashboards, and elevated North Standard’s digital offering. Users could now perform key actions faster and with greater confidence, supported by a consistent and scalable design system.
